Jerry Seinfeld slams 'Free Palestine' movement, comparing it to historical hate group
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld compared the “Free Palestinian” movement with Ku Klux Clan during a surprise view at Duke University on Tuesday, and said that both groups do not like Jews.
The creator of “Seinfeld” participated in a campus event for Omer Shem Tov, a hostage of Israel, who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023, and held a prisoner for 505 days. Seinfeld made a short entrance to Shem Tov before mocking anti -Israeli activists, and at least joking that the KKK was “honest” about their hatred for Jews.
“Free Palestine for me – you are free to say that you do not like Jews. Tell me that you don’t just like the Jews.” He said.

“You don’t really accept what you think,” he continued. “In fact, compared to Ku Klux clan, I think Klan is actually a little better here because they can come out and say ‘we don’t like blacks, we don’t like Jews’. Okay, this is honest.”
In a statement to Fox News Digital, a spokesman for a Duke University, said the school did not approve of Seinfeld’s comments as for all external speakers.
“Universities are places where various perspectives for difficult and sensitive issues are investigated in a safe and respectful environment. Duke does not preview or approve the words of external speakers and should not be understood as the approval of the views of their existence on campus.” He said.

“Jerry Seinfeld, a surprise guest and introduced the program to the event under the leadership of the student. At the request, his appearance was not explained in advance, so that Omer Shem Tov could focus on his spiritual journey during captivity. Other Duke organizations sponsored the activity by providing logistics support for many student -led programs.”
Fox News Digital also reached the Seinfeld representative, but did not get a response immediately.
Seinfeld gave the starting address of Duke University 2024, where several anti -Israeli students chant the “Free Palestine” or went out after the promotion. Protesters are largely “Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!”
