Two dead, two injured after off-road vehicle crash near Woodford
Two men and a family dog have been killed after their off-road vehicle crashed in a small town on the Sunshine Coast’s interior.
Four people and the dog were in the UTV, or off-road vehicle, when it went over an embankment and crashed into a tree on the property near Woodford about 1.30pm on Monday.
The 59-year-old man driving the vehicle and the 75-year-old man died at the scene of the crash on Cedarvale Road in Sandy Creek.
Their dog died in the accident.
A 33-year-old woman was seriously injured in the accident. She was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.
The 50-year-old woman, who survived the wreckage, was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The vehicle will undergo mechanical inspection.
