Dalai Lama Turns 90: Revered Monk’s Poetic Message For ‘Friends’ As Global Leaders Extend Wishes | World News

Dalai Lama entered the age of 90 on July 6 and received a birthday wishes from world leaders. He shared a poetic message full of wisdom on the eve of his birthday. On this occasion, the CTA, which represented the Tibetans in and outside the Tibetan and located in this North Indian Hill town, declared it in July 2025 – July 2026 as the “Year of Compassion”.

As the Nobel Peace Prize, Dalai Lama entered 90 years of age on Sunday, July 6, and hot requests from all over the world were shed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio were among those who extended their greetings.

In an article in X, PM Modi wished Dalai Lama on his 90th birthday, and called the “a permanent symbol of patience and compassion to the monk.

“The United States continues to be determined to promote respect for the human rights and fundamental freedoms of the Tibetans.

Dalai Lama’s Birthday Message

In a long article in X, the monk wrote: “I understand that on the occasion of my 90th birthday, good wishes and friends come together for celebrations, including Tibetan communities.”

“I just explore a simple Buddhist; I normally disagree with birthday celebrations. However, I want to share some thoughts because you organize activities that focus on my birthday.”

Dalai Lama in the Post added a way that people can make ‘a better place’. Although the work is important for financial development, he stressed that it is vital to focus on the peace of mind, not only to the beloved ones, but to everyone.

He added his personal goals to the message and said, “As for myself, I will continue to focus on the old Indian wisdom that explains the functioning of human values, religious harmony, and my commitments explaining Tibetan culture and heritage.

In his poetic message, “Can I stay to eliminate the misery of the world until then, as long as space remains, as long as it continues to be sensitive?”

According to IANS, on the occasion of Dalai Lama’s birthday, the representative of the Tibet at the North Indian Hill station and the Tibetan people outside the Tibetan people declared the democratic Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), “Year of Compassion”. Meanwhile, the monk aims to live for decades.
