Glen Powell reveals embarrassing wardrobe malfunction in ‘The Running Man’

Glen Powell has spoken candidly about an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on the set of his latest movie.

When joining a chapter Entertainment Tonight’s “Spill the E-Tea” The 37-year-old actor shared how shocked he was when he realized one of his stunts in his latest movie, “The Running Man,” revealed a little more of himself than he expected.

He detailed a stunt that involved him rappelling down the side of a building while seemingly naked, and explained that he was wearing a towel “like a little pouch underneath” which he referred to as a “marble sack”.

“So I wear a pouch underneath and wrap a towel around it,” she explained. “But then you rappel down a building. And you know, when you go down the building and you see a window, you don’t realize there are people there turning on lights and making electricity.”

Her co-star Josh Brolin couldn’t help but make fun of her, stating that the crew on the other side of the window was “watching” [him] “Come down from the front,” he said, then spread his legs to mimic Powell’s position on stage.

In “The Running Man,” Powell plays a desperate father trying to get rich quick to treat his sick daughter. In order to get the money, he participates in a reality show where a contestant must survive for 30 days while professional assassins hunt him down.

Powell described the scene during the interview Entertainment WeeklyHe said he liked the idea of ​​the scene because he “found it very, very funny and it was something I’d never seen in a movie before.” But he also admits that when it came time to make a movie, he “regretted agreeing to it.”

“Because I accepted that scene in the summer and we shot that scene on a rooftop in Bulgaria in February,” he said. “So walking around in a towel in front of a team is one thing, but being wrapped in a towel in cold Bulgaria in February is a sight.”

The actor made his big break in the industry by starring in the movie “Top Gun: Maverick” alongside Tom Cruise in 2022. The following year, he starred in both “Hit Man” and “Nobody But You,” the former of which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

After starring in 2023’s “Everybody But You,” rumors began swirling that she and her co-star in the film, Sydney Sweeney, were romantically linked, even though Sweeney was engaged at the time. Relations intensified again when Sweeney called off her engagement and attended Powell’s sister’s wedding in March.

“The press did it themselves,” Sweeney told Variety in October about rumors surrounding their relationship. “There was no bending per se.”

“The tabloids and journalists just created this and perpetuated it,” he added. “Even if we were standing side by side, ‘They’re standing two inches away!’ “it meant.”
