Dana White defends UFC’s masculine attitude in ’60 Minutes’ interview

Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), defended the attitude of “Unapologally Masculine” in UFC’s Sunday night “60 minutes”.
Reporter Jon Wertheim spoke with White about the rise of UFC among young men. Wertheim drew attention to White’s past criticism of America’s “Wussification” and asked if attitudes have changed. White said he believes they have.
“Absolutely Unapologlically masculine,” White said.

“Can this swell too much?” He asked. “When you feel poisonous masculinity, what are you doing -“
“What does this mean?” White was interrupted, laughed. “What is the definition of ‘toxic’? Nasıl How can someone be very masculine? Can you be very masculine?”
A little back and forth, White finally responded.
“No. Answer Hell No, White said.
White also emphasized the support of free speech and opposition to cancel the culture, condemning people who lost jobs through controversial online publications.

“If you celebrate the death of another person, you’re a disgusting person, but people make mistakes and people will do stupid things.” He said. “I don’t like trying to destroy people’s lives from doing something stupid.”
White recently confirmed plans to host a UFC event at the White House in 2026 with former president Donald Trump.
Although he was a Trump supporter, White told Wertheim that he was respectful of all presidents, regardless of his political parties. For example, during the second opening of Trump, he remembered a moment he shared with former President Barack Obama.

“I’m an American citizen,” White said. “Biden was my president. Trump was my president. I was at the opening and I was sitting behind all the former presidents and these things looked like ‘Dana’s Mad -Doggin’ president Obama. President Obama returned – the only president – and said, ‘Congratulations for all your success.’ ‘

“You want to come to your event of a former presidency of the seating or the United States, you are respectful to them.”
