The Madeline book series, about the orphaned schoolgirl, was made into a movie in 1998, starring actress Hatty Jones.
Channeling the character for Vas J Morgan and Michael Braun’s star-studded Halloween bash, the musician wore a blue, kale-coloured coat with a red scarf.
She completed her school uniform with a straw hat and Mary Jane shoes and added a bright orange wig.
The 1998 film adaptation of Madeline starred Frances McDormand as nun Miss Clavel and Nigel Hawthorne as Lord Covington.
Set in Paris in 1956, the film follows Madeline and eleven other girls trying to prevent the closure of their Catholic boarding school.

It continues: ‘I can’t understand how you play tennis/ If it was just sex I wouldn’t be jealous.
‘You won’t play with me and who is Madeline?’
The song ends with an outro repeating: “Da, da-da, da-da, who’s Madeline?” (Who is Madeline?)’ before ending with: ‘No, but actually who is Madeline?’
The following song focuses entirely on the incident because it seems to suggest that the couple has a clear agreement about sex as long as it is separate and not based on emotional connection.
Lily sings: ‘How long has this been going on? Is there just sex or is there emotion?/ He told me he’d stay in hotel rooms, never be exposed/ Why should I trust anything that comes out of his mouth?’
‘I’m not convinced he didn’t fuck you in our house’.
The chorus then continues: ‘We had a deal / Be discrete and not obvious.

Madeline then adds: ‘I hate that you’re in so much pain right now/ I really don’t want to be the cause of any sadness.
‘He told me he was aware of what was going on and had your full consent.
‘If he’s lying about this, please let me know. Because I have feelings about dishonesty, too.
‘Lies are not something I want to get caught up in / In the meantime you can reach me anytime / If you need more details or just need to express yourself or something / Love and light, Madeline’.
