DC Retention List: KL Rahul, Starc and Stubbs lead Delhi Capitals’ core for IPL 2026; check full list of retained players

Ahead of the auction, Delhi finalized two trade deals. While Rajasthan Royals sent Nitish Rana to DC for his current fee of Rs 4.2 lakh, DC moved South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira to RR with his fee revised from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 billion. Rana played 11 matches for RR last season and scored 217 points with an average of 21.70, most of which came in third place. The two-time IPL winner had previously won the titles in 2017 and 2024. Ferreira, who debuted for RR in 2024, spent the 2025 season in Delhi before returning to the first IPL team.
