In DEARBORN, Michigan, some neighbors suppress city officials to implement the noise regulation and saying that the daily prayer call of a nearby mosque is destructive and interventionist.

Andrea Unger, who has been living in Dearborn for 40 years, said the speakers in a mosque have a call for prayer several times a day, a quarter miles away from the house and usually took about five minutes. He said that the sound was so noisy that it can be clearly heard at home, sometimes until 5:30 in the morning

For the last two years, he has been increasing concerns about the Police Department and the Municipal Assembly, but the problem is continuing, he said.

Our City Regulation does not allow unusual, annoying sounds for five minutes or longer, but the mosque continues to violate our privacy in our house every day. “

At the 23 September City Council meeting, UNGER submitted a petition by 40 neighbors to the implementation of the city’s noise regulations, which forbade the continuation of uncomfortable, unusual or unnecessary noise within the boundaries of the city, rest, health or peace within the borders of the city.

The City Regulation states that noise in the settlements cannot pass 55 decibels or 60 decibels (07: 00-20: 00) during the day. The speakers are banned from 10:00-7:00

Unger found Fox News Digital has recorded a prayer call for 30 days and constantly exceeding 70 decibels.

He stressed that his concerns are not about religion, but about justice and equal execution.

The Supreme Court stated that no public school cannot pray for a specific God. Nevertheless, this prayer is praying in the speakers in our school fields and playgrounds. There is no atheist, Christian, Jewish, Catholic or any other group, who was allowed to use a speaker to explode five -minute prayer at the Eastern Dearborn community.

Unger said he hesitated to speak, fearing that some neighbors would be labeled as anti -Muslim.

I heard that many people say ‘I’m glad to say something’, because people are afraid that they will take names like ‘Islamophobic’ like our mayor. [Abdullah H. Hammoud] named [Dearborn resident and Christian minister] Ted Barham, because you don’t agree, “he said. We are not Islamophobic, we are not anti -Muslim, we are not anti -Jewish. We just want to live in the community, always [before] Something changed two years ago to allow this. ”

“This is not legal, nor we do not support it, Sare Sareini said, waiting for a complete report from the police chief before execution.

The Islamic Information Institute, which is at the center of Unger’s complaint, lists the seven -day prayer clock on social media pages.

More than one initiative failed to reach the mosque for a comment.
