King meets Prince Harry, Meghan and their two children

King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla hosted Charles’ son Prince Harry, his wife Meghan and their two children, who visited England.

Harry had been visiting the UK only once or twice a year since he had a high-profile falling out with both his father and older brother Prince William and Harry’s children (seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet). They have not been to the country since 2022.

Charles welcomed Meghan and Harry’s children to his home in Highgrove on Friday afternoon, following days of speculation about whether the family reunion would take place, UK media reported.

The group is understood to include the Queen, who has a private home near the King’s Gloucestershire estate.

Harry appeared to be at loggerheads with Buckingham Palace over security arrangements and where he will stay before arriving for five days of charity events and the outcome of a major privacy lawsuit he has filed against UK newspapers.

The judge ruled that Harry had failed to prove his allegations of invasion of privacy against the Daily Mail publisher.

Security issues prevented Meghan and the children from traveling with Harry on Monday, but concerns over security appear to have eased with the visit to Highgrove being allowed to take place.

Harry’s rift with his brother William continues and shows no signs of abating, and the family reunion took place on the afternoon William played in a charity polo match in Windsor.
