Deaths across Middle East from US-Israeli war on Iran

DEATH NUMBER IN US-ISRAEL’S WAR AGAINST IRAN
Deaths reported by countries as of March 9, more than a week after the war began.
* IRAN – At least 1,230 people, including 175 female students and staff, were killed in a missile attack on a primary school in Minab in the south of the country on the first day of the war, according to the non-profit humanitarian organization Iranian Red Crescent. It was unclear whether the total death toll included military casualties of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Iranian military said at least 104 people died after a US submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka last week. These deaths were not included in the death toll given by the Red Crescent.
* LEBANON – According to the Lebanese health ministry, at least 486 people died in Israeli attacks.
* IRAQ – According to Iraqi police and health officials, at least 15 people were killed. A commander from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iran-backed armed groups, was killed in an airstrike on his vehicle on March 5, police sources told Reuters.
* ISRAEL – Army says two soldiers killed in southern Lebanon; It was the first death among soldiers since clashes with Hezbollah resumed last week after the group attacked Israel in support of Iran. Eleven civilians, including nine people, were killed in an Iranian missile attack on Beit Shemesh near Jerusalem on March 1, according to Israel’s ambulance service, Magen David Adom.
* UNITED STATES – The US military said seven soldiers were killed during operations against Iran.
* SYRIA – State news agency SANA reported that four people were killed when an Iranian missile hit a building in the southern Syrian city of Sweida on February 28.
* UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – Four people died in Iranian attacks, according to the UAE defense ministry.
* SAUDI ARABIA – Two people lost their lives as a result of a bullet falling on a settlement in the city of Al-Kharj, southeast of the capital Riyadh.
* BAHRAIN – According to the interior ministry, two people were killed in two separate attacks by Iran; The latest attack hit a residential building in the capital Manama.
* KUWAIT – According to the Kuwaiti health ministry, two people, including a child, were killed in Iran’s attacks on the country. The military said two interior ministry officers and two army soldiers were also killed in the line of duty.
* OMAN – 1 person died as a result of a bullet hitting the Marshall Islands-flagged product tanker MKD VYOM off the coast of Muscat.
