A young father, who was a “golden heart” and “deeply loved”, died tragically after being stabbed in Manchester. Emergency teams, Newton Heath last night, a knife attack on a property in Gilmperon Drive ran to reports.

After the incident, Peter Crowe, the chief inspector of the city of Manchester, GMP, said: “A man was stabbed last night after a deadly stabbed in Gilmarton Drive. Two men were quickly arrested.
“This morning, the victim unfortunately died in the hospital. We send the deepest condolences to our loved ones and stay in our thoughts.
“We understand that this tragic event will shake our communities, and we want to assure people that we cannot tolerate violence and use of weapons on our streets. We will not stop until we find criminals and bring justice.
