India AI Summit: From Sam Altman to Sundar Pichai — full list of tech CEOs to attend major expo in Delhi

All eyes are on the India AI Impact Summit 2026, to be held from February 16 to February 20 at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Technology leaders from nearly 100 countries are expected to attend as the world’s largest companies aim to expand their presence in what is seen as a critical growth market.

Which tech CEOs will attend?

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Anthropic co-founder Dario Amodei and Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis are also expected to attend.

Reuters Nvidia’s media agency in India, MSL, reportedly confirmed via email that CEO Jensen Huang will not be traveling to India due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Huang was scheduled to address the media in New Delhi on Wednesday.

All about India AI Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on February 16 at the Bharat Mandapam, which hosted the G20 Summit for the first time in 2023.

The Expo is expected to attract more than 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates, and aims to foster global partnerships and business opportunities within the AI ​​ecosystem.

Additionally, more than 500 sessions will be held throughout the event with the participation of more than 3,250 speakers and panelists.

More than 600 high-potential startups are participating, many of which are already developing globally relevant, population-scale AI solutions that are being deployed in real-world environments.

The Expo will be held in 10 arenas covering over 70,000 square meters and will host global technology companies, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, State Governments and international partners.

Thirteen country pavilions will highlight international collaboration in the AI ​​ecosystem, including participation from Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan and African countries.

More than 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live shows will be held in three thematic areas.chakras“–People, Planet and Progress–reflects the broad-based impact of AI across sectors.

The Impact Summit, the first international AI summit held in the Global South, will showcase New Delhi’s ambition: shaping an inclusive, responsible and impactful AI future.

Under the IndiaAI Mission, the country is introducing 12 indigenous foundation models developed by indigenous startups and consortia, trained on large Indian datasets and tailored to the country’s 22 official languages.

The summit will showcase AI Impact Expo, a sprawling 70,000-square-foot showcase of real-world applications from precision agriculture to accessible education.
