Delhi rains to continue on Monday as IMD predicts showers for NCR until July 18

A part of Delhi-NCR woke up to rain on Monday morning after a sheddow spell of a drenched shower during the weekend. According to the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), wet air was set to linger and rainfall is expected in the capital until 18 July.

After a day of rain, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 38.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday, and the minimum fell to 25.1 degrees Celsius below the seasonal average.

The cooling conditions brought relief to residents struggling with heat and high moisture at the beginning of the week.

Rain estimated this week

In his last estimate, IMD said Delhi will usually live cloudy sky, light rain, storms and lightning in the coming days.

Daytime temperatures are expected to vary between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, moisture levels remained high, 80 to 90 percent. For Monday, the maximum temperature is expected to settle between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius and is likely to remain at around 23 to 25 degrees.
Although there is no severe air warning for today, very mild rain or driving can continue throughout the day.

Cyclonic circulation

Meteorologists have attributed continuous rainfall to a cyclonic circulation placed in the north Hail and neighboring areas. The air system promotes moisture flow and cloud formation between Delhi and adjacent NCR regions.

IMD’s region center in Chandigarh, NCR’s Gurogram, Faridabad, Rewari, Mewat and Palwal, including inhabitants, a warning warning to remain up to date in local estimates released a yellow warning.

Relaxation after swelter temperatures
