Maximum and minimum temperatures today are expected to remain in the range of 23 to 25 degrees Celsius and 9 to 11 degrees Celsius respectively. On December 18, the maximum temperature will vary between 23 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will range between 8 degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius.

According to the meteorological agency’s forecast, the five-day weekly weather forecast for Delhi is as follows:
December 17: Skies mostly clear. Shallow fog in many places in the morning, moderate fog in remote places.
December 18: Skies mostly clear. Shallow fog in many places in the morning, moderate fog in remote places.
December 19: Partly cloudy skies. Shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours.
December 20: Partly cloudy skies. Shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours. December 21: Partly cloudy skies. Shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours.
December 22: Partly cloudy skies. Shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours.

Cold wave in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh
The weather office has warned of dense to very dense fog conditions during morning hours in isolated areas of Uttar Pradesh and Eastern Madhya Pradesh from December 17 to December 20. “Dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail in the morning hours in isolated areas of Northwest and Northeast India from December 17 to 21,” IMD said. “Cold wave conditions are very likely to prevail in Western Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka on December 17 and 18,” IMD said.
“Dense fog in isolated parts of Northeast India between 17-21 December, in Punjab between 17-20 December; in Himachal Pradesh between 17-19 December; in Uttarakhand, Western Madhya Pradesh and Odisha between 17-18 December; in early/morning hours in Haryana and Chandigarh between 18-20 December,” the statement said. “It is likely that conditions will prevail.”
