Delhi weather: As rain and cool winds bring relief — check what IMD says about the week ahead

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), light and moderate rainfall is expected to continue at least 6 July until July 6th.

The Air Agency ignored any heat wave condition in the next few days, and after the summer heat, the residents provided continuous relief.

The IMD usually has a cloudy sky with intermittent shower and storm and is expected to remain between 31 ° C and 34 ° C during the week.
Minimum temperatures are likely to remain around 24-26 ° C. Winds from the east reach speeds up to 20 km/h and contribute to the cool air.

Meteorologists connect the ongoing pleasant conditions to a combination of factors – an active monsoon gutter passing through Delhi and a cyclonic circulation through South Rajasthan and adjacent parts of North Gujarat. Authorities defined the model as specific to early monsoon activity.

The city saw a significant decrease at temperatures on Monday

On Monday, Delhi made a sharp decline in both day and night temperatures after a slight rain spell in various regions. Served as the official weather sign of the city, the Safdarjung observatory reported that the maximum 30.6 ° C – about 7 degrees below normal – at least 24 ° C, and 4 degrees below the seasonal average. Air stations rotating during the rainfall with capital logs are between 8:30 and 5:30 in Ayanagar between 20 mm. Palam recorded 14.4 mm in the same period. The relative humidity levels remained high, touched 100% at several points of the day. Improved air also brought cleaner air to the region. On Monday at 16:00, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recorded Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) 65 and placed it in the “satisfactory” category. This pointed to the fifth day of relatively fresh air for the city that usually struggles with pollution, especially in summer.

Authorities and estimators expect the existing scattered rainfall and cool temperature model to continue throughout the week and provide constant relief to Delhi’s population.
