Charlie Sheen has been ordered to pay $500,000 to his third ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, as his legal battle finally comes to an end.
Last December, Mueller sued Sheen for more than $15 million in damages and claimed that he owed child support along with interest for his 17-year-old twins Bob and Max.
In his initial complaint, Mueller argued that Sheen was ordered to pay him $55,000 monthly starting in April 2010, but claimed that he began making partial or no payments in July 2011.
Sheen’s representative argued that Mueller “is not entitled to any child support” because he was caring for the children while he struggled with addiction.
Now, in court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the pair have reached a settlement in which he will pay her much less than the amount she originally requested.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sheen owes Mueller a total of $500,000; Half of this must be paid by July 10 and the rest by September 1.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Sheen and Mueller for comment.

Their new agreement regarding alimony covers the period between March 1, 2011 and July 1, 2026; After that date, financial responsibility for Bob and Max will fall to the parent who has “physical custody” at the time, according to court documents.
Although Mueller and Sheen technically have joint custody, the exact terms depend on Mueller’s ability to remain sober.
When Mueller first sued Sheen last December, he sought an eye-popping sum of $15,386,243, consisting of $8.9 million in back child support and $6.4 million in interest from March 2011 through December 2025.
Mueller insisted that her ex-husband provide her with the stipulated amount plus $25,000 in attorney fees within 30 days.
