The one thing missing from Prince George’s signature spotted | Royal | News

Prince George warmed the hearts of royal fans after stepping out with his father, Prince William, to volunteer at The Passage in London. The 12-year-old young prince was spotted alongside his father, the Prince of Wales, helping the charity prepare for its annual Christmas dinner, which works to help those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Photos and videos of the princes, including a photo of the charity’s guestbook, were shared by Kensington Palace on Saturday. One page of the book was signed by Princess Diana and Prince William in 1993, and Prince George was invited to add his signature underneath. But even though royal fans were expecting her to sign Prince George, there was something missing.

Instead, George took a page out of his father and grandmother’s book – Diana had brought William with her to The Passage when she was the same age as George – and signed George’s book without adding the royal title.

He then added the date of the visit next to the signature, confirming that the young prince visited with his father on December 16, 2025.

A photo of the signatures was shared online, and many fans found it emotional to see Diana, William and George’s signatures in one place, especially since George had never met his grandmother.

Many fans resorted to X to express how proud Diana was of her son and grandson, who tragically died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.

One fan wrote: “Princess Diana would be so proud of her son and grandson.”

Another said: “Look, it’s simple, they signed their own names without a title.”

Another wrote: “I love that what Diana started all those years ago has now been passed down to Prince George! What a great family tradition!”

A fourth commented: “Diana would be SO proud to continue the tradition.”
