Hopes fade for injured climber stuck up an icy mountain for 12 days after breaking her leg
Since the rescue efforts should be terminated due to bad weather, the hopes of a wounded climber stuck on a mountain in Kyrgyzstan for 12 days are breathing.
Natalia Nagovitsyna landed on Kyrgyz Chokusu on the top of Kyrgyz Chokusu on August 12th.
Kyrgyzstan’s spokesman for the Ministry of Emergency, CNN, the experienced climber, despite the repeated rescue efforts to claim the life of another climber, said he was stuck on the mountain.
A group of climbers, Russian and Italian media report, was able to reach Nagovitsyna after the injury. When they were able to provide him with some ingredients, then they could not evacuate him because of the extreme conditions on the mountain.
According to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one of the climbers trying to save Nagovitsyna, the Italian mountaineer Luca Sinigaglia died on the mountain on August 15th. The ministry said that bad weather is impossible to save its body so far.
An supervision drone lastly saw Nagovitsyna on August 19 on a back that was not far from the top of the mountain. Emergency Ministry spokesman CNN said he was believed to be alive at that time. The spokesman refused to comment on whether the Ministry believes that Nagovitsyna is still alive.
However, the spokesman meant that the search for Nagovitsyna, including bad snow, including severe snowfall, was suspended on Saturday.
It is the highest mountain of the Tian Shan series at a height of 24,400 feet (7.439 meters) above sea level.
It is considered a very difficult mountain to climb due to its location. As the northernmost mountain of more than 7,000 meters of the word, the Victory Summit is known for its extraordinary cold and harsh conditions and a very short climbing season.
The mountain is considered one of the five 7,000 peaks in the former Soviet Union as one of the Snow Leopard Mountains. Climbing five is considered a great success, and only 700 people, including 30 women, did so.
Nagovitsyna’s husband Sergei Nagovitsyn died during a campaign to Khan-Etengri, another of the five snow leopard summit. Natalia was with him when he was neutralized during climbing. Reports say he refused to leave him until the savior arrives.
