A devastating new poll shows no improvement in President Donald Trump’s His approval ratings remained at their lowest point ever in his second term.

Gallup polled more than 1,000 U.S. adults between December 1 and 15 to reach its results.
The poll also found divergent views along party lines on rating Trump’s leadership and competence. Gallup found that 89 percent to 94 percent of Republicans said the president “is strong and decisive and can effect necessary changes and run the government effectively,” while only 29 percent to 42 percent of Independents agreed.
One of the reasons for Trump’s low approval ratings is undoubtedly consumer sentiment and affordability, which Trump continues to refer to as the “Democrat scam.”
Gallup reported: “Only 21% believe economic conditions are ‘excellent or ‘good,’ while another 31% describe them as ‘just fair.'”
Meanwhile, the poll showed that 68 percent of Americans believe economic conditions are “worsening,” while only 29 percent think they are improving.
“Americans have been consistently more pessimistic than optimistic about the direction of the economy in recent years, but current numbers represent a deterioration from earlier this year,” the report said. “In May, 58 percent of participants thought the economy was worsening, while 37 percent thought it was improving.”
