Development plan under way in Kuppam, says Nara Bhuvaneswari

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneswari on Thursday said that a comprehensive development plan focusing on industrial growth, welfare programs and infrastructure has been implemented for the Kuppam Assembly constituency in Chittoor district.

On the third day of her four-day tour, Ms. Bhuvaneswari attended a breakfast meeting with local Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders at Shivapuram in Shantipuram mandal and inaugurated an Anna Canteen.

Addressing party cadres, he touched on the social welfare measures implemented during NTR’s tenure, including subsidized rice programs and property rights for women. He said that the current administration led by N. Chandrababu Naidu has implemented programs aimed at employment generation, housing and social welfare.

He noted that investments in sectors such as data centers and steel are expected to create local employment. He also talked about ongoing initiatives under Handri-Neeva, including free gas cylinders, financial assistance schemes, solar installations and water supply projects.

Later, Ms. Bhuvaneswari unveiled statues of her father and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao at Ramakuppam and Manendram and interacted with women’s groups in Balla village, besides visiting Govindapalli village to console the family of a deceased party worker.
