A team of doctors from the SDM Narayana Heart Center in Dharwad in Karnataka performed a rare and advanced high -level cardiology procedure that leaned a new life to a patient with complex heart problems.
Doctors performed a successful advanced cardiac intervention transcatheter valve replacement (attitude) to stabilize a critical patient.
An elderly patient (name has changed), which has suffered from permanent chest pain for more than five months, was diagnosed with severe calcification aortic shortage of aortic, with important coronary artery disease-two life-threatening states that require emergency medical assistance.
Consultant Cardiologist Ravi S. Jainapur made a comprehensive assessment of SDM Narana Heart Center.
The patient was first performed by stenting the middle segment of the left front descent (LAD), one of the major arteries that provide blood to the heart, percutaneous transuminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA).
This was followed by a transcatiter aortic valve replacement (attitude), minimally invasive procedure to change the narrowed aortic valve that prevents blood flow.
Dr. After surgery by Ravi S. Jainapur and his team, the patient’s vital lives were very well stabilized. After the follow -up tests, he confirmed that the heart function was healed significantly and the patient was discharged.
