2 dead as three-storey building collapses in Indore; tenant claims he had warned landlord about danger

Authorities said that on Monday, September 22, 2025, Indore collapsed in the Ranipura area, killed two people and injured 12 people.
Regional collector Shivam Verma, 14 members of a family stuck under the wreckage of the building, he said.
The deceased person was defined as Alifa (20) and Fahimuddin Ansari Plugs Fahim (40).

The tenant warned the host a week ago
A week ago, the host was warned about the ruins of the three -storey building.
Three front rooms of the building were rented, 22 host Sammu Ansari’s family occupied the rest of the building located in an area of densely populated.
One of the rooms, electric products using it as warehouses were rented by businessman Shank Gupta.

When he ignored the host warning, he rented two warehouses elsewhere and carried 70% of his goods there.
“If it was not raining on Monday, September 22, 2025, I would have moved the remaining goods,” he added that he decided to evacuate the warehouse.
