High street bank to close another 49 branches as customers move online

These closing is scheduled to take place between January and October next year.
High Street, the lender, said that all employees affected by the decision will offer new positions in the company or other branches.
On the other hand, the Cash Access Network link suggested the establishment of 11 new banking centers.
This recent closing wave reflects the ongoing shift for digital banking services.
Natwest announced that it has closed 46 mobile branches throughout the brands of Natwest and Scotland Royal Bank, which will be closed in January last week.
Bir Lloyds Banking Group Spokesman said: “People’s way of banking has changed and more than 21 million customer money has chosen our applications to manage their money.
Uz We offer more options than ever, bringing together our people to combine the best to provide digital convenience.
“In addition to our application, our customers can use Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland branch, post office or banking centers for daily banking and deposit more than 30,000 payment points.”
The group will turn off the 26 Lloyds branch, 10 Khalifax and 13 Bank of Scotland site as part of the last announcement.
705 branches will remain – 359 Lloyds, 269 Halifax and 77 Bank of Scotland.
