Divers rescued from encounter with 4.5m shark off WA coast

Making headlines today, authorities say they are deeply concerned after five women were seriously injured in domestic violence incidents in Western Australia’s north last week.
The incidents began on February 7 and included stabbings and a woman being run over by a car.
Recent research has found first home buyers in WA could benefit up to $97,000 on their purchase through the government’s expanded 5 per cent deposit scheme.
A new report from consultancy KPMG has shown that instead of helping first-timers raise the 20 per cent deposit by gifting mum-and-pop bank or grandparents, entering the market earlier through a government scheme provides a windfall, along with rent and insurance savings and capital gains.
