Hubbali airport ranked 4th in AAI customer satisfaction index survey

Hubbali airport was ranked fourth best in the Airports Authority of India (AAI) customer satisfaction survey. Hubbali airport was ranked fourth as per the Round II 2025 Airports Customer Satisfaction Index compared to Round I 2025, in which 58 out of 62 airports operated by AAI across the country were surveyed.

Khajuraho, Bhopal and Aurangabad took the top three positions.

The survey takes into account 33 parameters such as ground transportation to/from the airport, parking facilities, availability of luggage carts, waiting time in the check-in queue/queue, efficiency of check-in staff, courtesy and helpfulness of check-in staff, comprehensiveness of security inspection, value for money of restaurant/dining facilities, comfort of waiting/gate areas, internet access/Wi-Fi. Five hygiene-related questions were also included in the survey.

Hubballi Airport, which received 4.93 points in the previous survey, received 4.96 points in the latest survey. Belagavi airport got 4.89 points in the latest survey while it got 4.94 points in the previous survey. Mysuru airport scored 4.81 against 4.73.

Hubbali airport has seen a major improvement in ranking compared to the previous survey, which was the Airports Customer Satisfaction Index for Round-I 2025, compared to Round-II 2024, where it was ranked eighth.

Belagavi airport, which ranked seventh in the previous survey, dropped to 11th place in the latest survey, while Mysuru airport, which ranked 16th in the previous survey, rose one place to 15th place.

The other AAI airport in Karnataka, the airport at Kalaburgi, which was ranked 16th in the last survey, is not included in the final ranking as the survey could not be conducted due to unavailability of scheduled flights. Kalaburgi airport has fallen off the aviation map following the sudden suspension of Star Airlines services to and from Kalaburagi from October 15, 2025.
