Donald Trump signs executive order authorizing new 50% tariff on Canada

The United States said that it will impose a new 50% tariff on goods from Canada, including many that comply with the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement, the White House announced on Monday.

The tariffs will begin being levied in 30 days after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order to that effect.
