Following the latest breakthrough in achieving a ceasefire in Gaza, US President Donald Trump will visit Israel this week. According to reports, Trump is expected to arrive on Sunday and speak at the Knesset during his visit if officially invited.
Trump said, “I am expected to come to Israel in the coming days. They want me to speak in the Knesset, and if they want, I will definitely do it.” According to Israeli media outlet Ynet, the US president is expected to arrive in the country on Sunday.

Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas on Wednesday agreed to the first phase of a Gaza ceasefire, offering a long-awaited pause in violence in the region.
Trump shared the news on Truth Social, announcing that Israel and Hamas had approved the first phase of the peace plan, which provides for the release of hostages and the withdrawal of troops for lasting peace.
“I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed the first Phase of our Peace Plan. This means that ALL Hostages will be released very soon and Israel will withdraw its Troops to an agreed-upon line as the first steps towards a Strong, Enduring and Everlasting Peace. All Parties will be treated fairly!” Trump wrote in the post.
