Driver flees after truck hits magic mushroom dispensary

Toronto Police say a vehicle crashed into a storefront at Bloor St. W. and Brunswick Ave. around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning, but the driver didn’t not remain on the scene.

Police are investigating, but there were no reports of injuries and anyone with information is urged to call 416-505-1400.

On May 30, Hamilton Police also began investigating an arson at a Shroomyz store in Hamilton around 4:30 a.m.

It’s alleged a car pulled up to the location and two suspects exited the vehicle and smashed the front window to gain entry to the shop.

Shortly after, there was an explosion and the suspects returned to the vehicle, fleeing northbound on Wexford Ave. N.

The suspects were only described as younger males of average height with thin builds. They were wearing dark-coloured hoodies with the hoods pulled up.

The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model, dark blue Chevrolet Malibu.
