Driver rams car into FBI building gate, leaves US flag

A driver hit a car in a security gate in the FBI building in Pittsburgh, then removed a US flag out of the back seat and threw it on the door before leaving.

The FBI hit the door around 2.40 o’clock and the authorities were looking for the man.

Inspectors, including the bomb team, were at the scene.

FBI said there was no explosives.

“We are looking at this as a terrorist act against FBI,” Christopher Giordano, Deputy Special Agent in charge of FBI in Pittsburgh. He said.

He continued: “This was an attack on this building. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but we will consume every ability we have within the scope of the federal law to find, grasp and prosecute this issue.”

Giordano said he had no information about a reason.

He said that the FBI was familiar with the man, a former member of the army.

Giordano said, “Here a few weeks ago, the FBI came to the field office to make a very logical complaint.” He said.

Giordano said the car has some kind of message on one of the side windows, but it was not detailed.
