Drivers told to park cars under street lights amid ‘epidemic’ fears

Drivers, in the midst of concerns about the increasing car theft rates throughout England were called to park their cars under the street lights.

At the beginning of this month, the drivers were warned about the increasing tendency of criminals, rather than stealing all cars, targeted by certain vehicle components.

However, many opportunist thieves continue to buy full vehicles through physical breaks or sophisticated digital methods.

New statistics from Admiral Sigorta reveal that parking sensor theft increased four times between 2023-2024, and the steering wheels emerged as the main targets for criminals.

This worrying trend allowed security experts to recommend drivers’ cars to hide their cars in the garages overnight. Reports Chroniclelive.

However, the security company ADT, which acknowledges that garage access is not always practical, compiled guidance to help drivers minimize the risk of theft for award -winning properties. Among the basic suggestions, it places the tools directly under the illuminated areas.

The company has made the increase in visibility much more remarkable, because the increase in visibility is much more remarkable, because the placement of placing under the street lighting of your car.

Detledler: “Sometimes it is inevitable for many of us to park on the street.

“These tactics can often determine the criminal criminals when it is dark. Good illuminated areas make it difficult for thieves not to be noticed and have a lower probability to enter your vehicle if there is a chance to see more.”

In addition to parking under the street lights, ADT experts also proposed to position the vehicle near the more dense streets with more pedestrians.

“As it is under the street lamps, you may also consider parking the places around the people where intense roads, main entrances or potential thieves will come forward.

“If possible, positioning your car near surveillance cameras or houses with visible security systems can make your vehicle a less attractive target.”

Some experts are warned about how the drivers can prevent the stolen of all their vehicles, and others discuss the increasing rates of the car cannibalism in which criminals buy parts of vehicles instead of full engine.

Frauds, headlights and other cars that can be sold or installed parking sensors, including the components of cars are reported.

Speaking about the problem, Birminghamlive, experts from the Motor World gave a warning to drivers.

“Like Grand Theft Auto, car cannibalism is another big concern for car owners.

“To take precautions against theft and to have your insurance, are the best ways to protect your car from cannibalism. You can find a spare piece in your home or in a safe garage, especially for pieces such as lights.
