Indian Woman Vanishes In Pakistan Under Mysterious Circumstances – Claims Of Marriage, Religious Conversion Surface! What’s The Real Truth? | India News

A holy pilgrimage has turned into an international mystery that has put both Indian and Pakistani institutions on high alert. What started as a routine religious journey for Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv turned into a baffling case involving a missing Indian woman, shocking allegations of conversion, and whispers of illegal border crossing that no one saw coming.
Among the 1,932 Indian Sikh pilgrims who crossed into Pakistan, a woman from Punjab named Sarabjit Kaur mysteriously disappeared and never returned to India. Now, a letter from across the border makes jaw-dropping claims that have investigators scrambling for answers and families demanding the truth.

Sarabjit Kaur crossed the Attari border with her fellow pilgrims on November 4; his heart was filled with devotion to this sacred event. However, on November 13, he disappeared from Pakistani territory without a trace. When the return convoy assembled, Sarabjit was nowhere to be found. Panic gripped the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) as both countries launched frantic investigations.
First red flag? Sarabjit had not even filled in his nationality and passport number in the immigration form. This seemingly small detail has now become a big clue in uncovering what really happened to the missing woman.
Explosive Claims from Pakistan: Transformation, Wedding and a New Identity
Then came the bomb. A letter from Pakistan that has gone viral on social media makes surprising claims: Sarabjit Kaur converted to Islam, performed nikah (the Islamic term for a marriage contract) with a local man named Nasir Hussain, and took the name Noor Hussain. Reports claim that a mosque in Sheikhupura even issued a marriage certificate confirming that the marriage took place before maulvi with her consent.
So is this real or something much worse? Indian agencies were not convinced. Intelligence sources are investigating from many angles, including the possibility that this entire incident is part of an elaborate plan.
Donkey Route Theory: Escape to England?
Social media and some reports point to an even more dramatic development: Sarabjit’s husband has been living in England for the last 20 years. Investigators are investigating whether she deliberately disappeared to use the infamous “dunkey route” – illegal border crossing networks – to reach her husband in the UK via Pakistan.
Could this pilgrimage be a calculated cover for an illegal immigration attempt? Although unconfirmed, the theory is explosive. If true, this would explain why Sarabjit deliberately omitted immigration details and chose to disappear in Pakistan rather than return home.
Dark Past Surfaces: Three Criminal Cases and Family Connections
The plot thickens even more. Police records show that Sarabjit Kaur had already had three criminal cases registered against her but she was acquitted in all of them. His two sons Navpreet and Lovpreet also have cases filed against them under the NDPS Act (narcotics).
Investigators are now asking the critical question: Did Sarabjit have pre-existing connections in Pakistan? Was this disappearance planned weeks or months in advance? His criminal history raised serious red flags about possible cross-border networks.
Not Approved Yet, But Questions Continue to Grow
DSP Dhirendra Verma stated categorically: “There is no confirmation on conversion or marriage yet. Investigation is on.” Both Indian and Pakistani intelligence agencies are racing to trace Sarabjit and uncover the truth behind his disappearance.
But the questions refuse to end: Is Sarabjit a willing participant in this drama? Was it forced? Is this a conversion under duress, an illegal immigration plan, or something else entirely?
