Druids descend on Stonehenge to mark winter solstice

Thousands of revelers gathered at Stonehenge in Wiltshire on Sunday morning to greet the sunrise on the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year.
Druids and pagans wearing Celtic garb and elaborate nature-inspired headdresses danced around the Neolithic stone circle in Wiltshire, built by distant ancestors to accommodate the movements of the Sun.
