This was another prime-time showdown for the NFL, but the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t shy about coming away with a 10-7 victory on “Monday Night Football.”
The Eagles left their bye week behind and won on the road, taking the season to 7-2. Meanwhile, the Packers lost back-to-back games at home, falling to 5-3-1.
It was the first time an NFL game ended scoreless in the first half since the Houston Texans and New York Jets met on December 23, 2023. And the end result was the same as the Denver Broncos-Las Vegas Raiders game on “Thursday Night Football,” which was the start of Week 10.

The Eagles finally took the lead on the first down of the second half as Jalen Hurts connected with Dallas Goedert on multiple passes to reach the red zone. After a delay on third-and-long play, the drive stalled, leading to a 39-yard Jake Elliott field goal.
Judging by the way the match went, the 3-0 scoreline was much more than usual. But the Eagles found the end zone in the fourth quarter after Saquon Barkley caught a short pass near the line of scrimmage on third-and-7.

Barkley motioned to Hurts, knowing it was now daylight if he could make a Packers defender miss. He made a quick spin move, continued to stride forward, and raced toward the left sideline. With AJ Brown blocking ahead, Barkley appeared to have a chance to score until former New York Giants teammate Xavier McKinney brought him down after a 41-yard gain.
Just one play later, Hurts dropped back and made his first deep throw of the game — and it worked. DeVonta Smith timed his jumper perfectly and drilled a 36-yard field goal over Packers safety Evan Williams to make it 10-0 after Elliott’s extra point.
Having been left out despite repeated drives into Eagles territory, the Packers knew they had to respond. Jordan Love led an 11-play drive capped by a six-yard scoring run by Josh Jacobs to cut the deficit to three.

With momentum on their side, the Packers got the stop they needed to give Love one last chance. Starting from its own 10-yard line, Green Bay faced a crucial fourth-and-1 at its own 44. Jacobs came under pressure behind the line and Philadelphia rallied. Even if Jacobs had converted, an illegal formation penalty would have voided the play.
The Eagles elected to play on fourth and sixth after forcing the Packers to use their timeouts. Although Brown appeared to have a chance to score a game-clinching touchdown, Hurts’ pass came up empty, giving Green Bay a slim chance at a last-second chance.
Love led the offense far enough to launch a 64-yard field goal attempt, the longest ever made at Lambeau Field. But Brandon McManus missed badly and the Eagles celebrated as disappointed murmurs echoed through the Green Bay crowd.
In the box score, Love, who played without tight end Tucker Kraft for the rest of the season and lost Romeo Doubs to an injury midway through the game, finished 19-of-32 for 158 yards. Jacobs rushed for 75 yards on 21 carries.
