EAM Jaishankar to tour Singapore, China from July 13

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will start a three -day visit to Singapore and China on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), Mr. Jaishankar is visiting China to take China to a floor in China Tianjin (SCO).

The ties between the two countries would have a first visit to China after the 2020 military stance during the real control line (LAC) in East Ladakh.

“Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will visit Singapore and the People’s Republic of China between July 13-15,” Mea said. He said.

Mr. Jaishankar in Singapore, as part of the regular stock exchanges between the two sides, said the counterpart and the country’s leadership.

“After that, Foreign Minister will visit the People’s Republic of China to attend the SCO Foreign Ministers Council Meeting (CFM) in Tianjin in Tianjin.” He said.

Mr. Jaishankar will hold bilateral meetings on the sides of the CFM.

National Security Advisor (NSA) Doval visited Beijing in December last year and organized the Dialogue of Special Representatives (SR) on the border question with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang.

Mr. Doval visited China last month for the meeting of the best security guards of SCO member Nations.

Mr. Jaishankar’s visit is coming to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s SCO Defense Ministers Conference to China’s port city Qingdao less than three weeks.

China is the current president of SCO and hosts the grouping meetings in this capacity.

The military intern in East Ladakh began in May 2020, and a deadly conflict in the Galwan Valley in June of that year was seriously forced in the vineyards between the two neighbors.

Demchok and DESSang ended effectively after the completion of the separation process within the scope of an agreement that resulted in the last two friction points last year last year.

In the last few months, India and China have initiated a series of measures to repair binary bonds.

The decision to revive the SR mechanism and other other dialogue formats was taken at a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on October 23rd.

The Modi-Jinping meeting arrived two days after India and China made a separation agreement for DEPANG and Demchok.
