East Lancs Road traffic: Huge car fire shuts road as smoke seen for miles | UK | News

Some of the East Lancs Road near St Helens in Mersexide was closed after a car fire. Dramtik pictures show flames and smoke from the scene this morning (Tuesday, August 12).

Emergency services ran to the scene around 6.50 hours and the main road to the east was closed. Drivers were asked to avoid the region.
