Eli Lilly Chooses Telangana to Invest Over $1 Billion

Haydarabad: Tahangana provided a large investment of $ 1 billion by US Pharma Major Lilly, who will expand its production and global medicine supply capacity in Haydarabad. A new production facility and quality center will be established for the youth of TaLangana.
The announcement was made after the company’s global delegation met with the Prime Minister Bir Revanth Reddy and Industrial Minister D. Sridhar Babu at the integrated command control center on Monday.
The investment decision reiterates the confidence of the company’s leadership and effective governance after opening the global talent center in Haydarabad in August this year. Despite the strong interest from several states, Eli Lilly chose Tahangana because of the highly qualified manpower, infrastructure and positive ecosystem in terms of the support of the government.
Eli Lilly’s $ 1 billion investment, the company’s interest in TaLangana beyond the GCCs and diabetes and obesity, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer and autoimmune situations appeal to new drugs. The company will begin to recruit Hyderabad with openings between engineers, chemists, analytical scientists, quality control and assurance professionals and management positions.
With the establishment of new facilities, Eli Lilly is preparing to produce and globally supply in TaLangana. The Prime Minister thanked his Eli Lilly delegation for choosing Tahangana and provided full support from the government for the future expansion plans.
He established Haydarabad’s origin as a pharmaceutical center by establishing Idpl in Haydarabad in 1965 with Prime Minister Indira Gandhi at that time.
The Prime Minister also said, “Telangana means business.
He also announced the government’s plans to transform TaLangana into a information center and added that a new advanced technology center (ATC) was established in the Genom Valley of Haydarabad to provide technical support for companies.
“We added several famous pharmaceutical industrialists for the board of directors of the governors of Young India Skill University in Haydarabad, where Anand Mahindra is president.
On this occasion, Minister Sridhar Babu said that Lilly’s expansion in Haydarabad was a proof of the dynamic industrial landscape of TaLangana and the increasing effect on advanced health services production.
