Hours after the Bondi terror attack, while many Australians were asleep, a myth was created and exonerated through artificial intelligence.

The only bright spot in Sunday’s atrocities targeting Australian Jews that left 15 dead and 29 injured were the heroics of Ahmed al-Ahmed, who was at the scene and was filmed fearlessly overpowering and disarming one of the alleged gunmen.

But in the early hours of Monday morning, an alternative narrative emerged: The story that the Syrian-born Muslim immigrant risked his life to subdue the attacker was false.
