Man charged by police after woman found dead in freezer | UK | News

Police have arrested a 60-year-old man after a woman’s body was found at a property in a Welsh seaside town.
It was understood that the body of the woman in her 80s was found in the freezer when the police responded to the social assistance call about the woman on Tuesday, February 17.
“South Wales Police attended an address in Poplar Crescent, Porthcawl, at 1.45pm on Tuesday, February 17, following a call regarding the welfare of a woman,” a spokesman for the force said.

“Christopher Phillips, 60, of Porthcawl, was charged with obstructing a lawful burial.”
A South Wales Police spokesman added that investigations into the death were ongoing.
