Engine fuel switches cut off before Air India crash that killed 260, preliminary report finds | Air India Ahmedabad plane crash

A preliminary report seems to have cut seconds to the engines of the Air India aircraft, which hit and killed 260 people last month.
In the report, the keys in the cockpit where the controlled fuel is “cut”.
He said: “The aircraft reached the maximum air speed of 180 knot IAS in UTC about 08:08:42, and then the motor 1 and motor 2 fuel cutting switches switched from running to cutting position with a one -second time difference.
“The N1 and N2 engine began to fall from departure values as the fuel supply to the engines was cut.”
According to the report published by the Indian Aviation Accident inspectors on the world’s most deadly plane crash in ten years, Boeing 787 Dreamliner immediately began to lose push and sink.
One pilot cockpit can be heard asking why the other cuts fuel. “The other pilot said he didn’t do it,” the report said in the report.
He did not determine which explanations were made by the captain of the flight and which pilot had conveyed “Mayday, Mayday, Mayday” just before the accident on June 12th.
The preliminary findings also do not say how the key can be cut from Ahmedabad to London on flight.
US aviation security expert John Cox said that a pilot could not accidentally move fuel switches that feed engines. “You can’t hit them and they’re moving,” he said.
To cut, the turning almost cuts the engines. Mostly a plane is used to close the motors after a plane arrives in some emergencies such as engine fire and engine fire. The report does not indicate that there is any emergency requiring engine cutting.
“At this stage of this research, the Boeing 787-8 and/or GE GENX-1B motor operators and manufacturers,” Indian Aircraft Accident investigation office said.
The report also found that at least five buildings were destroyed when Air India Flight 171 fell into a densely populated settlement in Ahmedabad.
“The plane was destroyed due to the influence of the buildings on the ground, the buildings on the ground and the next fire,” he said.
Medical students, Byramjee Jeebhoy Medical College and the airport outside the civil hospital for a hostel after falling into a hostel died of about 30 people.
Part of the report announced how one of the engines could start re -start after switching to cutting, but could not reverse the slowdown of the plane.
Motor 1’s core slowdown stopped, reversed and began to heal, the report said that the Motor 2 could be withdrawn, but could not arrest the basic speed slowing ”.
