A tri-service exercise to integrate combat capability, technological adaptation and operational synergy between the three wings of the armed forces will be held this month in the rugged Mechuka mountains in Arunachal Pradesh, an official statement said.
Designed as a forward-looking exercise, ‘Poorvi Prachand Prahar’ will validate multi-domain integration across land, air and sea fronts and reflect the evolving preparedness of the Indian Armed Forces for future conflicts, Defense PRO Lieutenant Colonel Mahendra Rawat said on Saturday evening, November 1, 2025.

The exercise aims to improve interoperability, increase situational awareness and validate command and control structures for joint mission execution.
“The highlight of the exercise will be the coordinated use of special forces, unmanned platforms, precision systems and networked operations centers working in harmony in realistic high altitude conditions,” the official said.
Lieutenant Colonel Rawat said the revised tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) will be tested and validated to strengthen combat agility and adaptability.

Exercise ‘Poorvi Prachand Prahar’ marks the next milestone in India’s tri-Service integration drive after the successful conduct of Exercise ‘Bhala Prahar’ (2023) and ‘Poorvi Prahar’ (2024).
Lieutenant Colonel Rawat added that this strengthens the Armed Forces’ collective resolve to maintain mission readiness and joint operational effectiveness in defense of the nation.
