Epstein survivor tells CBS News how she was trafficked, and assaulted
Juliette Bryant said she met for the first time jeffrey epstein As a 20-year-old psychology and philosophy student in Cape Town, South Africa, she was working part-time as a model.
His first interaction with the late American sex offender came by chance during a night out when he was approached by a girl who offered to introduce him to a man she said was described as American royalty.
“He said he knew a guy here who was ‘America’s King’ and that he was here with Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker. He told me that his best friend, Leslie Wexner, owns Victoria’s Secret and that it would be a great idea for me to meet them because it could help my modeling career,” Bryant told CBS News on Sunday. “So we went down the road to the restaurant where they had dinner. And of course they were there. Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Jeffrey Epstein, and a few government officials from South Africa.”
Bryant does not accuse Clinton, Spacey or Tucker of any wrongdoing and said his interaction with the men at the table was brief, lasting only about five minutes.
But the next day he received a call from the girl doing the promotion, saying she wanted to see Epstein’s modeling portfolio.
“Epstein said he thought I would be great for Victoria’s Secret and they left that day, but he started calling the office and getting me visas and tickets and everything,” Bryant told CBS News. “You know, I didn’t have any money, but don’t worry, they said they would deduct all my expenses from the income I earned while there.”
Bryant, a South African citizen, said he was surprised at how quickly Epstein was able to arrange his travel to the United States.
“They arranged for me to get a visa to come to America. It was like a visitor visa… and they arranged these visas very quickly, which is unusual in South Africa. It’s usually very difficult to get a visa here. And within three weeks I was in America,” he said.

Tusk also said that “connections between Epstein and the entire pedophile circle and Russian special services” would be investigated.

Bryant said that as soon as he arrived in New York, he was told he would go to the Caribbean, to Epstein’s private island.
“I honestly assumed it was for a modeling shoot,” she said. “We went to the Teterboro airport and they were waiting there on the plane and, you know, nothing was checked at any of these airports. They didn’t check our passports, our luggage, nothing.”
Bryant said her passport was taken from her on the plane and she was then sexually assaulted.
“As the plane takes off, [Epstein] He started touching me forcefully between my legs and I went crazy. “I realized it wasn’t a modeling opportunity, I was kidnapped,” Bryant told CBS News. “They took me to the island and then I got stranded there. They never arranged any modeling opportunities, I was basically completely scammed.”
Bryant said she was trafficked by Epstein for the next few years of her life. His account of where he first met Epstein coincides with a period when Epstein lent his plane to former President Bill Clinton as part of the Clinton Foundation’s trip to Africa.
Bryant eventually received compensation as part of both. Epstein Victims Compensation Program in 2020 and apart Deal with JP Morgan Chase In 2023.
Public flight records reviewed by CBS News show Clinton took a nine-day trip to Africa with actors Spacey and Tucker in September 2002 on Epstein’s private plane, visiting Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique and South Africa.
KFF Health News reported at the time that Clinton, Tucker and Spacey were on the Clinton Foundation trip to “support HIV/AIDS efforts and economic development efforts.”
Clinton said in an affidavit to the House Oversight Committee in January that Epstein offered to use his private plane for her, her staff and the Secret Service team to support the Clinton Foundation’s philanthropic efforts between 2002 and 2003.
Clinton has denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where some of the late financier’s crimes took place, and has maintained she was not in contact with the convicted pedophile for more than a decade before his arrest in 2019.
