Epstein took ‘very cute’ young Romanian model to private dinner at Buckingham Palace for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein took a young Romanian model to a private dinner at Buckingham Palace with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, The Mail on Sunday has revealed.

Bombshell emails reveal how Andrew entertained Epstein and four women, including a model from Bucharest and a model from Russia, at the Palace while Queen Elizabeth was at Balmoral.

Epstein described the Romanian woman in her early 20s as “so sweet” and told her she was “perfect.”

She said Andrew thought she was ‘beautiful’ and added: ‘No man looks at your clothes, they see through them.’

And in an apparent reference to the evening’s events, the sex offender wrote to Andrew: ‘Lots of fun, later’ and the then-Prince enthusiastically replied: ‘Yes please!’

It was unclear last night whether the young Romanian woman was one of Epstein’s many victims of sexual abuse, but the latest revelation in the Epstein Files has fueled calls for the Metropolitan Police to launch a criminal investigation into Andrew.

It also raises new questions about what courtiers knew about her interactions with Epstein and his network of young women in royal residences.

Royal writer Andrew Lownie said: ‘We have many stories of women being taken to Andrew and I think there are strong reasons for the Met to reopen the case.

‘The Palace has visitor logs and must launch its own investigation into security at Royal palaces and whether any laws have been broken.

‘He must pass this information on to law enforcement.’

The fallout from the Epstein Files continued to shake both Andrew and the Government yesterday; Former minister and ambassador Peter Mandelson’s links to a pedophile have come under intense scrutiny. On another day full of drama:

  • Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Mandelson’s emails leaking secret government plans to Epstein could constitute a ‘crime’ and were a ‘betrayal of everything we stand for as a country’;
  • Sir Keir Starmer should step aside in favor of an interim Prime Minister until a leadership contest in the summer, Labor MPs have said;
  • Sir Keir’s private secretary Morgan McSweeney, who some have accused of ‘forcing’ the Prime Minister to appoint Mandelson as ambassador, is on the verge of resigning, while Cabinet Secretary Sir Chris Wormald may also resign.
  • As detectives finished their search at two of Mandelson’s properties, a senior corporate financial crime lawyer visited his £12 million London home;
  • This newspaper can reveal allegations that MI6 had told Mandelson he could pose a risk to UK security due to his links to Russian intelligence;
  • It emerged that Mandelson was secretly trying to help Epstein close down the MoS investigation into the pedophile’s friendship with Andrew.

Files released by the US Department of Justice last weekend show that Andrew arranged an intimate dinner at Buckingham Palace with Epstein and three women (identified only as Sarah, Sue and Vera) in September 2010. One of the three was a Russian model.

Andrew promised the convicted sex offender ‘plenty of privacy’ a year after he was released from an 18-month prison sentence for molesting a minor.

But now the MoS has uncovered further files which reveal a fourth woman was added to the guest list for the dinner night.

Writing to Andrew at 6.41pm on 27 September 2010, Epstein told the then-Duke to ‘add another one’ and described the guest as: ‘Romanian, very sweet’. Andrew replied ‘no problem’.

The woman met Epstein at socialite Ghislaine Maxwell’s Belgravia mews house before being taken to Buckingham Palace.

Maxwell’s former home was where Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre claimed she had sex with Andrew in 2001; He has always strongly denied this claim.

It is not clear in the documents what happened that night, but the next morning Epstein, then 57, emailed Andrew: ‘It was great fun.’

Meanwhile, the woman thanked Epstein, saying it was a ‘once in a lifetime experience’.

She responded by recalling that she almost declined the invitation because she didn’t like the jeans she was wearing, and added: ‘You were perfect and Andrew thought very well. ‘No one looks at their clothes, they see through them.’

The woman, who the MoS has not named, did not respond when asked this weekend whether she was a victim of Epstein. Buckingham Palace declined to comment and Andrew did not respond.

The statement came after Thames Valley Police said it would investigate allegations that Epstein sent a woman to England to have sex with Andrew at his 30-room former home, the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

It’s the first time an Epstein victim has alleged a sexual encounter took place at the royal residence.

The MoS discovered that the Romanian woman, who met Andrew in 2010, came into Epstein’s orbit in 2008 while she was a student in Bucharest; The same year, the financier was imprisoned for procuring an underage child for prostitution.

Emails show she visited Epstein in Florida and Paris and paid the pedophile’s rent and dental bills.

In May 2010, shortly after moving to the United Kingdom, Epstein helped her find a job through multimillionaire British businessman Lyndon Lea.

Mr. Epstein called Mr. Lea “a good friend, a former Romanian fashion model, a business graduate, eager to start a real business… I’m sure he’ll be very successful.”

Mr Lea, who helps lead a charity fighting human trafficking, later said he had arranged for Epstein a paid internship in London. He did not respond to a request for comment last night.

Epstein frequently showered young women with gifts and career assistance to groom them before they became controlling.

In a message he sent to the Romanian woman, he asked her to immediately write to him how much he missed her.

And after a visit to the Palace in October 2010, she berated him for seemingly ignoring her advice. ‘I have been with you for more than two years,’ he said. ‘You followed [your] Contrary to my strong suggestions, I choose my own path.

‘It was easy like our night at the Palace, you were perfect and no one cared about your clothes. I will help you THEN and only AFTER you start helping yourself.’

On Friday, Met Police detectives investigating allegations of misconduct in public office raided two of Peter Mandelson’s homes.

Financial crime lawyer Adrian Darbishire KC made a 90-minute visit to his peer’s London home yesterday.

Ghislaine Maxwell, who was jailed for aiding Epstein’s crimes, will testify via video before Congress tomorrow but is expected to remain silent for fear of incrimination.
