Erika Kirk pushes back at online conspiracy theories about husband’s death

Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, has lashed out at conspiracy theorists who have made a series of false accusations about her husband’s assassination.

“Can I get something? Can my kids get something?” “Outnumbered,” Kirk said on Wednesday.

“We’re going to build the most beautiful monument for my husband at Turning Point in the USA. And it’s going to be for the whole world to see. And it’s going to be amazing… But can I have something?” he continued. “Could there be something where my babies, where we hold it sacred, where my husband is buried, where I don’t have to worry about some secular revolutionaries coming and destroying my husband’s grave while my daughter is there praying? Something.”

“This is my husband. Yes, he was Charlie Kirk to the world. I know a lot of people love my husband, and I’m grateful for that. But this is my husband, and I want to be able to have one thing that’s sacred to our family, my mother-in-law, my babies, my family. One thing.”

ERIKA KIRK DENIES THE CLAIM THAT GUN VIOLENCE WAS THE MAIN PROBLEM THAT Led to her husband’s ASSASSINATION

Kirk insists conspiracy theorists got “nothing” from him, telling Fox News’ Harris Faulkner that he doesn’t have time to “clear up the noise.”

“My silence doesn’t mean I’m complacent. My silence doesn’t mean Turning Point USA and all the hand-picked staff who love my husband and my husband loves them are somehow involved. We’re busy building,” Kirk said.

“And you know what I thought? I thought these people were people. We’re all grieving in our own way and they’re trying to find answers to something so bad that’s going on,” he continued. “They are trying very hard and I understand that, we are doing the same. Every time we hear a tip or anything, we send it to the authorities. Please investigate this matter. Nothing will be solved. I want justice for my husband, for myself, for my family more than anyone out there.”

Kirk had a message for conspiracy theorists: Go after him, but not the Turning Point USA “family.”

“Come after me. Call me names. I don’t care. Call me whatever you want. Go down that rabbit hole. Whatever. But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my ‘Charlie Kirk Show’ family. When you go out for the people I love and you make hundreds and thousands of dollars every episode going after the people I love because they’re somehow in it? No,” Kirk said.

“I’ve never seen you like this,” Faulkner reacted.

“This is righteous anger because it’s not right. It’s not healthy. It’s a mental virus. Yes, I believe in our judicial system. I do. We have a great team working on this — pardon my French — but it’s not right.”

“So you want to put these people back in the box they escaped from?” Faulkner asked.

“I don’t care what box you’re in, but know that your words have a lot of power. And we’re human too,” Kirk responded. “My team is not a machine. They are not robots. They are people. There are more death threats on our team and on our side than I’ve ever seen. I’m getting kidnapping threats. You name it, we have it. And my poor team is exhausted. And every time they bring it up, what are we supposed to do, relive that trauma?”

“They watched my husband get murdered. I have no idea how I would have reacted if I had been there that day. And thank God I didn’t have to see it happen. But my team was shaken to the core. So why did they have to be dragged through the mud, analyzed, hyper-analyzed every day,” she added.

Kirk criticized the “collection of conspiracies” and vowed not to back down from them.

“I’m not going to sit in a corner and cry and be in the fetal position,” Kirk said. “This is a duty and an absolute honor for my husband. And I will never back down. So my message to them is that they have to stop. Stop.”
