Suspect claims he ‘did it all for’ victim’s ex-wife, leaked police confession reveals
On the morning of July 4, an American marketing professor was walking towards his ex -wife’s house in Athens to get two young children. If there was a drained visit, it should have been a remarkable visit – apparently objecting to the conditions of custody arrangements.
However, Przemyslaw Jezorski never reached the front door.
In a wide -day light, this typical silent, suburban neighborhood of Greece’s capital was shot many times at close range, according to the police. Jezorski died where he fell, the police said he was full of firearms wounds seen in the terrible photographs taken immediately after his body.
While the eyewitnesses ran to the aid, the masquerade armed man fled.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested 12 days later: his former wife’s new partner. The motive told the police: To prevent Jezorski from taking her children.
“I did everything (for him) and for our children, so that we could lead a normal life without any problems,” he said, according to a statement he made to the police after being arrested from the previously prepared murder, as well as having an illegal weapon and use.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the case is that the statements given to the police by the alleged perpetrators are widely leaked to the Greek media, including a CNN member CNN Greece. The expressions confirmed by a senior police source speaking to CNN offer an idea of how the alleged murder plan is brought together, why it was done, and provides clues about who and when. But there are also the main questions-at least the role of Jezorski’s ex-wife.
According to the Greek police, according to his lawyer who spoke to CNN, the moral criminal partner he denied is faced with charges. Like all suspects in this case, his identity is known by CNN, but cannot be published due to Greek legal restrictions.
The confession of the alleged perpetrator and the other contradictory accounts of the three criminal partners leaked to the press determine the possible long and high -profile trial.
Meanwhile, killing and afterwards, Jezorski’nin who loves the children of a gentle and introverted academician who shocked the victim’s friends and family shocked.
43 -year -old Jezorski, who is called Przemek or “PJ”, is an Economist and Marketing Professor at the HAAS School of California Berkeley University. He was born in Poland and moved to the United States to study economics and mathematics at the University of Arizona in 2004 and continued to take his PhD from Stanford.
“It was one of the sharpest people I’ve ever met,” the victim’s Stanford’s friend Robert Kowalski said. “He was a great man, a genius in many ways.”

Uc Berkeley said in a statement Jezorski had a passion for teaching ”and taught more than 1,500 graduate and doctoral students for 13 years at the University of California. The research studies focused on developing markets that led him to the world for field research, and Berkeley described him as a leading expert in the economy of quantitative marketing, industrial organization and digital markets ”.
Jenny Chatman Dean of UC Berkeley Business School, said that he was “broken heart with his death with Jezorski’s death, which he described as a member of the Faculty of Marketing”.
Custody war
According to Kowalski, Jezorski met San Francisco, a Greek citizen in San Francisco in 2013, and married the following year. Shortly after, the couple’s twins were born.
In 2015, he established an initiative called Keybee, a short -term rental property management platform.
It is not clear what caused the disintegration of their relationship, but Kowalski said that the couple had left around 2020 after being moved to Greece during the Covid pandemi.
According to the victim’s brother’s brother, their children are dual US and Poland citizens. The children had applied for Greek citizenship and expected a decision on this issue, according to the former spouse’s lawyer.
According to California Court Records, Jezorski filed a divorce case in June 2021.
Ultimately, for children living with their mothers in Greece with their mothers, their father Jezorski seems to be an element in a custody war for years for children who have a provision that they can take children for a month.

According to Kowalski, Jezorski asked during the custody war that their children went to an American school in Greece, so that one day they could go to high school or college in the USA.
However, the original suspect said to the police, his ex -wife was afraid of losing children much earlier.
“We were afraid that his (Jezorski) children would get the children completely. This summer, my very fond (girlfriend) would end completely. This summer, Przemek wanted to take the children and take them to America. But he didn’t agree with the same, and that’s why he returned to court with Przemek.”
On July 3, the custody decision decided that Jezorski was really allowed to take children for a month.
Contradictory confessions
“One and a half months ago, I decided to end this torture for all once and for everyone,” he said to the suspect police, given Jezorski in Athens to attend the detention hearing, he added that there was a “good opportunity”.
In a statement, he asked how the suspect had received a pistol longer than a month and to help a friend from Bulgaria to “find Przemek and scare our children from us”.
He said that everything started in Nafplio, a coastal city of about two hours from Athens, and said, “I look the way I am there” and his mobile phone will “leave a mark”.
The suspect said that he, his friend and two people to a man and a young-Atina from Arnavutluk, and that the suspect knew that Jezorski came to take children in the afternoon. Im I approached him and hit him a few times, but how many times I don’t remember, ”he said.
According to the statement, men had rented a Gray Porsche Cayenne as an escape car, but the murder suspect, the police, after seeing the victim hit the victim, he said he left him at the scene.
Police said Jezorski had died at the scene and that a masked armed man had seven bullets after hitting his neck and chest.
Police said in a statement on Thursday that three unnamed men allegedly helped, two Albanian citizens and Bulgarian citizens of the accusation of the criminal partner said. A Greek police source said on Thursday that the suspected suspicious criminal partners admitted to their peripheral participation in killing. CNN could not reach the lawyers for these men.

“My client confessed to the actions of the actions, but as you could see from the simplicity of some things that happened, it was not an organized plan. He only knew a plan to scare the criminals (the sacrifice),” he explained to the main suspect’s lawyer Ermis Papoutsis CNN. “(Ex -wife) partner, none of this knew nothing about.”
“My client had come to me to get advice in the past. His wife said that his ex -husband had serious alcoholism problems and that he and the mother were worried about allowing children. Since there are some problems in the past, we will ask for a psychiatric examination. ”
Jezorski’s friends rejected his allegations that he abused alcohol.
On Friday, CNN Greece, the alleged armed man’s account contradictory Bulgaria’s alleged criminal partner took the statement of the police. In this account, the alleged criminal partner claims that the victim’s ex -wife “organizes everything”.
His friend told me that the perpetrator will take a gun and then “to take him to Athens the next day to find the pole and to take the pole to detain and threaten it.
“In fact, what he told me, (his ex -wife) made him because he didn’t want to give the children to the pole,” the criminal partner said in a statement that the perpetrator offered thousands of euros after doing something we don’t agree with ”.
When it came to the old land-he said he kept his innocence.
Former wife’s lawyer Alexandros Pashadas said in a statement on Monday, “He has nothing to do with the murder. He had no knowledge of everything in advance. The killer was his girlfriend.” “Now, most importantly, it is horrified about the future of their children, because he thinks he may lose them.”
Apart from the court, Pashadasi said: ız We will emphasize the key points that prove that we do not participate in the case file, as well as in our written presentation and in the main investigation. ”
For uncertain reasons, nothing went to the Greek media from his statements to the police.
‘Our family has broken heart’
Meanwhile, the victim’s family is dealing with an unimaginable tragedy. The victim said in a statement that his brother said, “The heart of our family is broken, but he grateful for the Greek police and security professionals who made arrests.
The victim’s brother łUkasz Jezorski said in a statement, “Przemek’s ten -year -old children, who are us and Polish citizens, are now looking at Greek children’s custody procedures,” he said. “Our primary concern is their security and prosperity, and to help them re -connect with their families to minimize the trauma they have already endured.”
Jezorski’s family launched an online donation to send its remains back to domestic Poland and to pay for legal representation in Greece.
A US State Department spokesman CNN said the agency provided consular assistance to the family.

According to lawyer Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, representing the victim’s family, he was seen in court for five suspects on Monday. Four men and ex -wife were detained in the waiting for the hearing. Dimitrakopoulos told CNN, a trial date will be determined at a later stage.
Dimitrakopoulos told the Greek media on Friday, “the victim’s mother and brother will take custody of the children,” he said. “We talked to the prosecutor for the little ones to get full custody of the victim’s mother and brother of the victim and to live in Poland where they are now,” the lawyer said.
“They have the opportunity to raise them in a loving environment, in a completely protective environment, Dim Dimitrakopoulos said,“ If the mother acquitted, we have the right to demand custody of their children because we respect the assumption of innocence. ” He said.
