Biopic on F1 Trailblazer Narain Karthikeyan In The Works

India’s first Formula 1 driver Narain Karthikeyan will immortalize his life and career on the big screen. The upcoming Biopic, NK370, will tell the inspirational journey of the motor sports symbol, which puts India on the global F1 map.

The project comes after a global interest in Formula 1 cinema, encouraged by Brad Pitt, led by Brad Pitt. The NK370, which is on this wave, is currently being developed under the flag of Blue Marble Films.

Malik and the famous filmmaker Mash Narayanan, known for his departure, will direct the film. The script was written by the Shalini Usha Devi, celebrated for his work in the national award -winning Sumorai Pottru. Production is supported by Ahsan, Vivek Rangachari and Practical Maitra.

Speaking about the film, director Mash Narayanan said, “Narain Karthikeyan’s journey is not just about the race. It is about this belief – a dream that yourself, your country and no one can see. This is what attracts me to this story.”

Following the rights for several years, the producer Faraz Ahsan said, “India has some of the most dangerous ways in the world – it only requires skills to survive in traffic. But it was fascinating me and how someone like NK went on 365 km/h on these roads.

In 2005, Narain Karthikey created history as the first Indian competing in Formula 1 and driving for the Jordan team. The road breaking entrance opened doors for Motorsport’s visibility in India.

While Indian cinema previously seen successful biopsies in the legends of Cricket, such as Ms Dhoni, Muhammad Azhardin and Sachin Tendulkar (through Docu-Drama), caught the winner of the Kapil Dev in a realistic way. The NK370 will now shift the spotlight from the cricket field to the race track.
