‘Modi ji came to House 25 days after war started,’ says Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Sanjay Raut on PM’s West Asia conflict speech in LS

Speaking to ANI, Raut said that PM Modi came to Parliament 25 days after the start of the war, looked depressed, lost control and unwilling to remain in power.

“Modi ji came to Parliament 25 days after the war started and we all felt that Modi ji was depressed when we observed his body language, demeanor and way of speaking. Modi ji has lost control and his mentality also does not seem to want to stay in power for much longer. Modi will go on his own,” he said.
On Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi’s statements regarding Prime Minister Modi’s 25-minute speech, Raut added that his speech could not provide the public with the clarity expected in such a serious crisis.
Raut said, “There should be a discussion. There is such a big problem in front of the world and the country. You yourself said that the situation that existed with Corona may return again. If you want to inform the public and the country about a serious situation, then there should be a discussion.”
These remarks came after Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Modi for his handling of the situation in West Asia; In his speech, he avoided naming the United States and claimed that President Donald Trump was “100% under control.” The Congress MP, while addressing the Adivasi Adhikar Samvidhan Sammelan in Vadodara, had stated that Prime Minister Modi could not debate in the parliament as concessions were made.

The Prime Minister said, “I heard that the Prime Minister made a 25-minute speech. But I guarantee that he cannot participate in the debate in the parliament because concessions have been made. Narendra Modi spoke for 25 minutes but did not say a single word against America. Narendra Modi is 100 percent under Trump’s control.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi called the West Asian conflict “alarming” and highlighted its potential economic, security and humanitarian impacts on India in his speech in Lok Sabha on Monday.
He highlighted India’s commercial ties with the war-affected region, particularly its dependence on crude oil and gas, and reiterated that the country must remain prepared for the long-term consequences of the conflict.
The Prime Minister also stated that India’s diplomatic approach is to call on all parties to de-escalate tensions, condemn attacks on civilians, commercial ships and blockage of important waterways such as the Strait of Hormuz.
