Use the Help a Friend feature in Find My
If you need to borrow another person’s iPhone, avoid signing in directly to their device. This triggers security checks that you cannot complete without your lost phone. Use Help a Friend in the Find My app instead:
- Open Find Me on your friend’s iPhone
- Scroll to: Help a Friend
- Log in With your Apple ID
