Ex Brazil president Bolsonaro must wear ankle monitor

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro called his house by the police and was ordered to wear an ankle monitor and added to the legal pressure that US President Donald Trump tried to end a steep tariff on Brazilian goods.

CNN Brasil reported that the court orders aimed at Bolsonaro were motivated by the risk of escaping to the United States.
Bolsonaro’s lawyers said in a statement that Bolsonaro has been following the court decisions so far, “serious measures against him” called “surprise and anger” expressed.
The Federal Police said in a statement that they have made search orders and uncertain “precautionary measures” ordered by the Supreme Court, but did not name Bolsonaro, who ruled the largest country in Latin America from 2019 to 2022.
Bolsonaro, who was both friends with Trump while both of them, is on charges of a coup planning charges to stop President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva in January 2023 before the Brazilian Supreme Court.
Trump said that he would apply 50 percent tariffs to Brazilian goods last week and made a letter to Bolsonaro on Thursday.
He continued: “I turned against you I saw the terrible treatment you received in the hands of an unfair system. This trial should be finished immediately!” He wrote.
