Great white shark spotted near boat off San Diego coastline

San DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) – A group of fishermen met a large white shark on the coast of La Jolla at the weekend.

Sergent, about 16 to 18 feet length of the Great White, approached the boat carrying him and his crew, one or even a blue shark was attached, he said.
“We did not bind or harassed white sharks,” Sergent said. “Moreover, a sea lion came and we made bullying to big white! There was something very nice to see.”
As seen in the video, the big white, a sea lion appeared before the boat before chasing it. Nobody was damaged during the rare encounter.
Sharks are common on the coast of California. Accordingly California Fish and Wildlife Department, White sharks are usually seen near the ocean surface, but it is known that at least 6,000 feet floats under water.
The department said that children’s white sharks are usually seen in shallow waters near the Southern California coastline during the summer and warm water periods.
Last year, a swimmer in Del Mar was bitten by a shark that was then confirmed to be a large white.
