Netanyahu sets out two main Iran war objectives as Iran war escalates | World | News

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underlined the dangers of the Islamist regime in Iran and announced his two main goals regarding the war in Iran.
Israel and the United States launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28, called Operation Epic Rage by the Americans and Operation Roaring Lion by the Israelis, eliminating Iran’s top leaders and targeting its nuclear and police facilities.
Netanyahu has been warning for years that he believes Iran’s nuclear program is a threat to Israel and the world.
Netanyahu outlined his two priorities for the Iran war while touring the diverse Israeli city of Arad, where more than 80 people were injured after an Iranian missile attack on a residential building. The nearby southern desert town of Dimona was also hit.
“We set two clear goals,” Netanyahu told Fox & Friends’ Trey Yingst exclusively on Sunday.
“One is to completely break their nuclear programs, to completely break their missile programs, to completely break their capacity to produce components of both programs, and we’re all on track to achieve that,” he said.
“We have also set a goal to create conditions for the Iranian people to overthrow this tyranny that tortures them and makes life unbearable for the whole world, and I hope we will achieve this.”
During the same visit, Netanyahu condemned Iran’s targeting of civilian areas in the last 48 hours, including civilians in Arad as well as holy sites in Jerusalem. He said it was a “miracle” no one died.
“They are doing this as a weapon of mass murder. Luckily no one died. But this happened by chance, not their intention. Their intention is to kill civilians,” he said bravely.
Netanyahu claimed that Iran has the ability to attack deep into Europe and stated that it had already hit Cyprus.
He also criticized Iran for attacking the US-UK military base in Diego Garcia and blocking shipments in the Strait of Hormuz, claiming that Iran was “trying to blackmail the whole world” as global fuel prices increased due to the blockade.
“What more proof do you need that this regime that threatens the whole world must be stopped? Israel and the USA are working together for the whole world.” He called on world leaders to join the fight and expressed hope that some would begin to do so, but pressed for more to get involved.
“President Trump’s call for the international community to confront this terrorist, fanatical fanatic regime. This is not just for the security of America and Israel, but for the security of the entire world. And it’s time for them to act.”
He warned Iran that it would respond to Israeli attacks on Israeli civilians with “great force” but promised not to target civilians.
This comes after more than 175 people were killed and more than 95 injured at Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school in Minab, Iran, during the first attacks against Iran. The school is located near the military base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Iran accused the United States and Israel of carrying out the attack, but both denied the claim.
Although initial reports suggested that the school was hit by the US with a Tomahawk missile due to an accidental targeting error, the attack remains under investigation, Al Jazeera reported.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s comments were published nearly a year after Israel carried out a major 12-day military operation against Iran, targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities starting in mid-June.
US President during 12 days of conflict Donald Trump He also supported Israel by attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities. At the time, Trump declared victory and claimed that Iran had “completely destroyed” its nuclear capabilities.
